Sports!!

I am the assistant coach for volleyball at Marion.  I coached the junior high and assisted Mr. Nelson with the C team (mainly freshmen) and with the JV and Varsity teams.

I enjoy coaching junior high girls.  It is fun to see how much they improve throughout the year.  Some girls come to the first day of practice never playing or touching a volleyball and end the season being able to pass, set, and hit the ball.

I played on a sand league last summer in Tea and I also play on a co-ed league in Sioux Falls.  We have a lot of fun and enjoy playing whether we win or lose.  I've also played a lot when I lived in Minnesota.  I played on 2 sand co-ed leagues and also on a women's league.  I'm proud to say that one of the sand leagues we were undefeated!

I also enjoy playing softball.  I played center field and 3rd base in high school.  I hit several home runs and even touched all the bases on a bunt once! 

I played softball this past summer in Marion.  I played with several other teachers from Marion and look forward to playing again this summer.

I love watching the Minnesota Twins and look forward to seeing some games in the new outside playing field!
